HyperGuest raises $25M from Apax's AMI in the wider region's biggest fresh round of the window
Tel Aviv hotel-distribution infrastructure player HyperGuest takes $25M in growth capital from Apax Partners' mid-market Israel arm.
TEL AVIV Updated By Hannaan Kirmani
TEL AVIV — HyperGuest has raised $25 million in growth funding from AMI, the mid-market Israel arm of Apax Partners.
The Tel Aviv company builds connectivity infrastructure between hotels and distributors, and says it has passed $1 billion in cumulative total transaction value. It employs roughly 160 people across 21 countries. The round follows $28 million raised previously from backers including Lightspeed, Viola and THYAR.
The deal sits outside the Gulf core but is the largest fresh venture round in the wider region this window, announced 29 September and picked up across trade press within days. It lands as travel technology remains one of the few regional categories still attracting growth cheques at this size, a dynamic that Gulf hotel and distribution groups watch closely given their own occupancy and channel economics.
For MENA readers the signal is comparative. Growth capital of this size is available to regional travel infrastructure that can show nine-figure transaction volumes and multi-country operations.
Watch whether the new capital pushes HyperGuest's connectivity rails deeper into Middle East hotel markets, and whether Gulf-based travel tech players cite it in their own fundraising conversations.
