CNTXT AI opens Silicon Valley office and claims $300M in committed revenue

The Abu Dhabi AI and data company is hiring up to 25 US commercial staff, but its headline revenue figure comes with no definition, period or named clients.

DUBAI Updated By Hannaan Kirmani

DUBAI — CNTXT AI, the Abu Dhabi-based AI and data company, has opened its first US office in Milpitas, California, and disclosed a figure it calls $300 million in committed revenue, a claim the company has not defined and which should be treated as a target rather than booked sales.

The company, co-founded by Mohammad and Hassan Abu Sheikh, plans to hire 15 to 25 commercial staff in year one, including a senior vice president of revenue and a vice president of marketing. It says 90% of its clients are US hyperscalers, AI developers and robotics labs. Its Munsit Arabic voice AI product counts more than 300,000 users and was trained on over 110,000 hours of audio across more than 25 dialects. CNTXT AI acquired Arabic voice startup Actualize in June 2026 on undisclosed terms, and its last raise was a $60 million Series A in June 2026 backed by AI71 and BlueFive Capital.

The US push inverts the usual Gulf AI narrative. Instead of importing American models, a UAE company is selling Arabic-language data and voice infrastructure into Silicon Valley, where it says most of its customers already sit.

Watch whether CNTXT AI names the clients or the period behind the $300 million figure, and whether the Milpitas office precedes a US-anchored Series B.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the expansion.
