DUBAI — Cequire Capital, a Dubai-based proprietary investment vehicle, has committed $100 million of its own balance-sheet capital to early-stage crypto projects, with $50 million ready to deploy now.
The vehicle, led by managing partner Salman Parcy, will write pre-seed and seed cheques of $500,000 to $2 million, leading or co-leading rounds, according to a release carried by Zawya. The portfolio split is 60% venture, 30% liquid tokens and 10% co-investments, with full deployment targeted by the end of next quarter. Focus areas include stablecoins, AI agentic payments, real-world assets, privacy and post-quantum security.
Cequire says it has already deployed more than $50 million across 20-plus Web3 projects over three years, including a $1 million cheque into Wyscale and $500,000 into TX24.
Parcy is calling a new crypto bull market from the first quarter of 2027, with bitcoin above $140,000.
The read: proprietary money moves faster than LP-raised funds and answers to no investment committee. If Parcy's timing call is right, Cequire's next two quarters of cheques will look prescient. If not, it is his own capital on the line, which is exactly why the call is worth watching.
