RIYADH — Ghanem has raised a further $1.5 million, extending its pre-seed round to $8.6 million.
The new capital came from unnamed real estate companies and strategic angel investors, adding to earlier backing from Al Rumaih Group and Waad Investment. The fractional real estate ownership platform, founded in 2025 by chief executive Saleh Waheed Al-Ghamdi and co-founder Amr Essam, operates inside the Real Estate General Authority's regulatory sandbox and allows entry from SAR 1,000.
Ghanem says it has issued digital ownership deeds to 580 investors in its first income-generating property and has a live digital integration with the Saudi Real Estate Registry. The round's first $7.1 million tranche was announced in November 2025 and re-circulated earlier this month before the extension was confirmed.
Saudi Arabia's sandbox pipeline is producing a tier of proptechs that sell fractional yield rather than listings, and the regulator's willingness to connect directly to the national registry gives Ghanem infrastructure most regional peers lack. The extension coming from property companies rather than funds also reads as industry validation of the model.
Watch whether Ghanem converts the extended round into a full seed round with an institutional lead, and how quickly its second property onboards investors.
entARABI first reported the extension.
