DUBAI — Databuddy Analytics has raised more than $560,000 to date, built on Y Combinator's standard $500,000 deal with participation from Maza Ventures and the a16z Scout programme.
Founder Issa Nassar, 20, is billed as the youngest MENA founder accepted into Y Combinator. The company builds an AI product analytics platform that investigates conversion drops, customer friction and product issues on its own instead of leaving teams to dig through dashboards, and claims more than 3,000 businesses signed up in its first months since launch. The new funds go toward deeper AI investigation features, integrations and hiring.
The Y Combinator stamp matters beyond the cheque. Gulf pre-seed companies increasingly route through San Francisco accelerators to set terms and signal quality back home, and a scout cheque from a16z adds a second Silicon Valley marker on a Dubai cap table. The total-to-date framing, rather than a single priced round, suggests the company is still assembling its seed story.
Watch for a priced seed round out of the current YC batch and whether the 3,000-business claim converts into paying customers. entARABI first reported the raise.
