DOHA — Dandy Company Limited has opened a QAR 206.4 million ($56.6 million) public share offering, putting 40 percent of its share capital up for subscription ahead of a planned listing on the Qatar Stock Exchange Main Market.
The offering, approved by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, runs from 7 to 20 October 2026 at QAR 5 per share, or QAR 5.01 including fees. Thirty percent of the tranche is reserved for institutional investors and 70 percent for Qatari individuals. The institutional bookbuild, which drew 19 investors, was oversubscribed before the public window opened. The founding shareholder will retain 60 percent of the company, subject to a lock-up.
Dandy is a food and beverage manufacturer, not a tech startup, which makes the deal an outlier in this publication's coverage. It belongs here as a capital-markets signal: Qatar has been working to deepen its exchange and pull more family and founder-held companies toward public listing, and each sizeable subscription tests how much retail demand the QSE can actually absorb.
Watch the allocation results after 20 October and the first trading day on the Main Market. A strong retail take-up would encourage other Qatari consumer companies considering listings; a weak one would push the pipeline back toward private capital.
