DOHA — ALPHA10X, a predictive AI company for private-markets investing, has raised a $5 million Pre-Series A led by GrowthX Capital, the Doha firm founded by Snoonu's Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri, and will relocate its global headquarters from France to Qatar.
The announcement came at a Qatar Chamber signing ceremony. The company targets more than 50 senior hires in Doha by the end of 2027.
ALPHA10X, led by founder and CEO Robert Marcus, sells decision intelligence to investors: its ALPHAcodex reasoning system reads private-markets data to score and predict outcomes. It has run more than 100 engagements across 11 countries, counts Kearney as a shareholder and partner, and previously raised a $20 million seed.
The cheque is small; the geography is the story. Qatar is paying to import AI headquarters, and a Qatari founder-turned-VC is doing the recruiting. Al-Hajri has said publicly he thinks ALPHA10X can become a unicorn.
Watch the hiring number. Fifty senior roles by end of 2027 is the metric that turns a signing ceremony into a real headquarters, and it is the number Qatar's other AI transplants will be measured against.
Gulf Times first reported the investment.
