RIYADH — Project Suppliers, a B2B construction and procurement platform, has closed a SAR 3.75 million pre-seed round, roughly $1 million, from undisclosed angel investors.
The Riyadh-based company connects suppliers with buyers in the construction sector. It says more than 12,000 suppliers and contractors use the platform, which has processed around 600,000 pricing requests. The new capital is earmarked for AI-based cash-flow management tools and supply-chain operations.
Construction procurement in Saudi Arabia remains largely offline even as the kingdom's project pipeline grows. Startups attacking the space have mostly sold software to contractors; Project Suppliers is building the marketplace layer instead, which makes cash-flow tooling a natural adjacent product. Contractors live and die by payment timing, and a platform that already sits on their pricing data is well placed to underwrite it.
No lead investor was named, and the company has not made its founders public, which is unusual even at pre-seed.
Watch whether the AI cash-flow product becomes a financing product. If it does, Project Suppliers moves from marketplace toward lender, and the round sizes get bigger.
entArabi first reported the round.
