DAMASCUS — Alo Hakeem, a Syrian home healthcare marketplace, has raised $165,000 in a pre-seed round led by Ebla Ventures, the fund's third deal of 2026 and part of more than $500,000 it has deployed this year.

Founded in 2025 by Albaraa Abdulsalam and CEO Abdullatif Al-Baroudi, Alo Hakeem sends licensed doctors and nurses to patients' homes and lets members of the Syrian diaspora book care for family inside the country. The company operates in Damascus, Hama and Aleppo and counts more than 1,000 users served by over 100 verified providers. It is a Thimar accelerator graduate and plans to expand into four more governorates by the end of 2027.

The round is small by regional standards but notable for where it lands. Venture cheques into Syria remain rare, and the diaspora-booking feature gives the company a hard-currency revenue line from abroad at a time when domestic purchasing power is constrained.

Watch whether Ebla's Syrian position draws follow-on capital from regional funds, and whether Alo Hakeem can hit its governorate expansion target as licensing frameworks formalize.

entArabi first reported the round.
