DAMASCUS — Percent Labs, a multi-brand cloud kitchen startup in Damascus, has closed a seed round from unnamed Syrian diaspora angel investors at a valuation the company says exceeds $1 million. The amount raised was not disclosed.

From a kitchen with no dining room, no storefront and no walk-ins, the company runs delivery-only brands including Broasted Chicken, Nash Heat, Bunzo and Breadfast. It says it passed 10,000 orders a month within 14 months of its June 2025 founding, and is targeting 40,000 a month within 18 months.

Co-founder and COO Soubhi Bakri previously founded FixCar Syria and ran partner support at BeeOrder, the country's dominant food delivery platform.

The cheque matters beyond its size. Diaspora angels are becoming the seed layer for post-sanctions Syrian startups, a pattern visible across recent Damascus rounds, and food is where consumer spending recovers first.

Watch the order curve. If Percent Labs holds anything close to its growth target, the next round will test whether regional funds, not just diaspora cheques, are ready to underwrite Syria again.

entARABI first reported the round.
