RIYADH — Autobia has raised a $12 million Series A led by Artal Capital, with Aljazira Capital and Wa'ed Ventures participating, to expand its B2B auto-parts marketplace across Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2021 by chief executive Emad Daghreri and chief operating officer Ahmed Alawfi, Autobia says it has sold more than 5 million parts across over 100 cities, working with more than 160 brands. Alongside the marketplace it runs an embedded finance layer: inventory-on-terms instalments for merchants, and Qasima Plus, which aggregates Tabby and Tamara BNPL options at the point of sale. The new capital goes to Saudi expansion, logistics and fulfilment capacity, and dynamic pricing.
The round follows a $2.5 million seed in June 2023 led by Sadu Capital. Artal's lead continues a pattern of Saudi growth capital moving into vertical marketplaces that add fintech rails, where the financing margin rather than the goods margin is the real prize.
Watch how fast Autobia pushes fulfilment. Parts marketplaces win on delivery speed, and the embedded finance book only performs if the logistics underneath it do.
WAYA first reported the round.
