DUBAI — Precision-health startup Aden has opened its longevity membership in the UAE this October and stated a $2 million seed round, though the company did not name any investors in the announcement.
The membership is built around a large testing panel. Members receive analysis of more than 125 biomarkers, with blood draws performed by nurses at home and repeat testing every six months to track changes over time. The model targets the growing Gulf market for preventive and longevity-focused care, where affluent consumers increasingly pay out of pocket for diagnostics beyond standard checkups.
Aden was founded by chief executive Sarah Cronin, whose background includes GSK and Trinity College Dublin, with Sam Liddell serving as chief medical officer. The company is headquartered in Dubai Media City.
The $2 million figure arrives as a company statement rather than an investor-announced round, which is common for press-release-led seed news but leaves the backing unverified. Until a fund confirms participation, the round should be read as a marker of intent rather than validated institutional interest.
Precision health is an increasingly crowded Dubai niche, with clinic groups and hospital chains adding longevity programs of their own.
Watch whether Aden names its investors in a follow-up announcement and whether it publishes membership numbers after its first quarter of operation, the two clearest signals of whether the model has traction. AETOSWire carried the announcement.
