DUBAI — AIREV, the Abu Dhabi-based agentic AI company behind the OnDemand operating system, has brought in Singapore's Terra Invest as a strategic investor in its ongoing Series A2, WAM reports. The amount and Terra's exact role are undisclosed, and Dealroom flags the commitment could be modest.
The cheque is not the headline. AIREV is chaired by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the sitting UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, a rare minister-chaired startup, and WAM valued the company at around $200M in June. Co-founder and CEO Muhammad Khalid leads the team behind School Hack, with Dr. Youssef Youssef as COO and Kayaan Unwalla as CSO.
OnDemand claims more than 4 million users, over 300 agents, support for more than 50 languages and 6.8 trillion tokens processed in Q2 2026, roughly six times year on year. The deal includes joint initiatives with Terra portfolio companies Kairos Wealth, a wealth management OS, and Shookra, the longevity wearable maker.
The read: this lands the same week Aramco took 49% of HUMAIN. Sovereign-adjacent AI assets in the Gulf are being positioned as strategic holdings, not venture bets. Terra joining Core42, VentureWave and Titian on the register gives AIREV a Singapore corridor at exactly the moment UAE-Asia capital is hunting AI exposure. Expect the A2 to close larger, and priced.
